The Virtual Psychiatry Consult Clinic provides access for children, youth and their families to a one time psychiatric consultation.
The Virtual Psychiatry Consult Clinic provides access for children, youth (5-18 years old) and their families to a one time psychiatric consultation (provided virtually). This service allows clients across the region to access assessment, diagnosis and treatment suggestions from their home community. Benefits of the program include:
  • Thorough assessment from a child and youth psychiatrist
  • Diagnostic clarification
  • Comprehensive treatment recommendations
Consultations are approximately 90 minutes in length. To be eligible children and youth must not be already connected with a team that has access to psychiatry.
