Sexual Abuse Intervention Program (SAIP) - Nanaimo and Ladysmith

Provided by NARSF Programs & Hollyburn Family Services
The program consists of complete screening and assessment of the referred client and family, health education, and any needed referrals to community resources, education and consultation services to schools, service providers and community groups.
Eligibility & Accessing SAIP:
- Online self-referral is available for children and youth under the age of 19 who have disclosed sexual abuse or sexual exploitation that may have been reported to MCFD and/or the RCMP, or when inappropriate sexual behaviours have been identified with children aged 12 years old and under
- Formal referral agents are also available, including through MCFD, CYMH, School District 68 and other community service providers (providers please see below).
